FAQ

Questions and Answers:

Q: When is the next election?

A:  The 2022 General Election Runoff will be held on December 6, 2022.

Q:  When can I request an absentee ballot for the December 6, 2022 General Election Runoff?

A:  NOW!  The last day to apply for an absentee ballot for the December 6, 2022 General Election Runoff is November 28, 2022.

Q:  Will I get an absentee ballot automatically?

A:  The only way you will receive a ballot without applying for it is if, when applying for an absentee ballot earlier this year, you marked that you were opting in to receive ballots for the rest of the election cycle for one of the following reasons: Elderly, Disabled, or UOCAVA.  If you did not mark that section on the absentee ballot application, you must submit a new application for the December 6 General Election Runoff.

Q:  Where do I vote?

A:  If you early vote (November 28 - December 2, 2022), you will vote at our office at 237 North 2nd Street, Madison GA.  If you vote on election day, you must vote at your polling place.  Please note:  our office is NOT an election day polling place.
