Each peddler and itinerant merchant, as such terms are defined in section 66-46 of the Morgan County Code of Ordinances, who does business within the unincorporated areas of the county shall be required to obtain a license from the Planning and Development department.
Prior to the issuance of a peddlers and itinerant merchants license, you will be required to complete a fingerprint and background check with the Morgan County Sheriff's Office. The peddlers and itinerant merchant license fee is $100, and is will expire on December 31st of the year they were issued. Applications must be filled out completely. We will need all numbers, including state and federal identification numbers to issue a peddlers and itinerant merchants license.
Renewal notifications are issued prior to expiration. Please make checks payable to Morgan County.
