Requirements to be a Poll Worker:
- Be a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Morgan County.
- For municipal elections, be a resident of that municipality.
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Not a candidate for an election, a public official, or a close relative of any candidate.
- Be able to attend mandatory Poll Worker training.
- Work on Election Day from 6 a.m. until the polls close and all paperwork and machine close out is completed.
- Not convicted of a felony, unless voting rights have been restored.
