Poll Workers

We are always looking for great people who want to be an integral part of the election process!


Requirements to be a Poll Worker:

  • Be a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Morgan County.
  • For municipal elections, be a resident of that municipality.
  • Be at least 16 years of age.
  • Be able to read, write, and speak the English language.
  • Not a candidate for an election, a public official, or a close relative of any candidate.
  • Be able to attend mandatory Poll Worker training.
  • Work on Election Day from 6 a.m. until the polls close and all paperwork and machine close out is completed.
  • Not convicted of a felony, unless voting rights have been restored.

Why be a poll worker?
