Advance Voting 

For primaries and elections: advance voting begins the 4th Monday prior to the date of the election. Advance voting is held in our office at 434 Hancock Street, Madison, GA Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. Saturday voting hours are 9am - 5pm on the first and second Saturday during early voting.  

Absentee Ballot Application

If you are a registered voter and need an absentee ballot sent to you, please click on the link above to fill out an application and send it to our office, and a ballot will be mailed to you.  Ballot requests can be accepted up to 78 days prior to any election.

Absentee ballot applications are accepted until 5:00p.m. eleven days before Election Day (two Fridays immediately preceding the Election Day.)  

Absentee ballots must be received by our office by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.

Submit your application in one of these ways:

By mail or hand delivery to:  Morgan County Elections & Registration, 434 Hancock Street, Madison GA  30650.

By email as an attachment: absentee@morgancountyga.gov

Ballot Tracking

To find out if the Board of Elections and Registration has received your application for an absentee ballot, when your ballot was mailed, or if your voted ballot has been returned, view the Georgia Secretary of State website.
