Advance Voting
For primaries and elections: advance voting begins the 4th Monday prior to the date of the election. Advance voting is held in our office at 237 North 2nd St, Madison, GA. Monday - Friday, excluding State holidays, plus the first two Saturdays. Saturday voting hours are 9am - 5pm on the first and second Saturday during early voting.
For runoff elections, advance voting begins as soon as possible but no later than the second Monday before the election (the last full week before the election). Advance voting is held in our office at 237 North 2nd St, Madison, GA, Monday - Friday, excluding State holidays.

If you are a registered voter and need an absentee ballot sent to you, please click on the link above to complete an application and send it to our office, and a ballot will be mailed to you. You may apply for an absentee ballot no earlier than 78 days before any primary, election, or runoff. An application must be received no later than 11 days before the primary, election, or runoff to be processed.
Absentee ballots must be received by our office by 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.

By mail or hand delivery to: Morgan County Elections & Registration, 237 North 2nd St, Madison GA 30650.
By email as an attachment: absentee@morgancountyga.gov

To find out if the Board of Elections and Registration has received your application for an absentee ballot, when your ballot was mailed, or if your voted ballot has been returned, view the Georgia Secretary of State website.
