Morgan County Fire Rescue

Morgan County Fire Rescue is a proactive, All Hazards department providing emergency services to both Morgan County citizens and its visitors. This combination department utilizes both professional volunteers and career fire rescue personnel to protect approximately 354 square miles of Morgan County.

Vision Statement

The Morgan County Fire Rescue is and shall always be dedicated to the task of protecting the lives and property of our fellow citizens from fires, disasters, and other emergencies, whether man made or natural whenever or however that may occur. It shall be the duty of the firefighters of Morgan County Fire Rescue to provide these services in timely and professional manner. The member of Morgan County Fire Rescue shall train, plan, prepare, respond, and mitigate any all hazards in Morgan County.

Emergency Vehicles

By Georgia law, when an emergency vehicle that is displaying emergency lights and sirens is approaching, you must pull to the right and, if possible, stop. This allows the vehicle adequate clear lanes to safely and quickly continue its response.
